Our policies

• Privacy Policy: We do not share your information with others, except if necessary to get your job done. To take care of your needs, we need information to contact you and get to your address. This includes name, address, telephone numbers and email addresses. We do not provide this information to 3rd parties (unless we are arranging with a sub-contractor, eg. utility company, excavator.
• Terms and Conditions: For work costing over $500, we ask for a deposit of 1/3. When the work is completed, we bill for total amount, less any deposits. On rare occasions where jobs need weeks to complete, we may ask for 'Progress Payments' reflecting the work done up to that point.
• Warranty/Guarantee: There are 2 parts: Work/labor and Materials. (Electrical surges, lighting can void the product/labor warranty.)
  • Work/labor: We guarantee our work for 1 year, but it's not usually the work that's the issue.
  • The product (timers, motion sensors) have their own warranty which we follow. Product warranties usually do not cover labor. That's where our labor warranty comes in.
• We're a real business. We carry insurance for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of our work, employees or subcontractors.
• Unusal issues: We are not liable for any delays due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to: strikes, weather delays, casualty, acts of nature, fire or arson, or general unavailability of materials.
• Unless specified otherwise, permit fees are not included. They vary by job and town so we can only approximate the cost ahead of time.
• We provide estimates (Proposals) based on our experience of what the work will cost. If there is a change in the work you request, it will affect the cost.
• Refund policy: If you make a deposit for work and you cancel the work before it begins, we will refund your money. If special materials were ordered, you may be responsible for the restocking/return costs. Special materials are items that are not typically stocked at a local electrical supply house.
